SHIVA Oil PaintStik Paint Sticks -- Artist's Oil Paint in Stick Form

Shiva^® Artist's Paintstiks are real artist professional grade oil paint in solid form. The paint sticks are non-toxic, fade proof, and dry to a flexible film in 24 to 72 hours. Paintstiks are completely compatible and can be spread or blended with any conventional oil paints.

Easy to use, just peel off the self-sealing film on the top of each paint sticks BEFORE using. The film will reform on the paint stick in a matter of hours so they never dry out. No unpleasant odors or fumes so you can virtually paint anywhere, any time, on almost any surface: canvas, fabric, paper, wood, plastic, or metal. All colors are fully inter-mixable and blendable to achieve any shade desired. Shiva Paintstiks are popular with quilters and fabric artist as well as professional artists of the fine arts.

Rubbing Plates

Rubbing Plates are sets of textured plates that can be used to transfer designs to your fabric. The samples below show rubbings made from each of the sets of plates. The plates are shiny black plastic, and very difficult to scan so the sample rubbings show just a few of the many possibilities. Try making rubbings from both sides of the plates. You might find the rubbing from the back of the plates is more interesting than the rubbing from the front!
