Want to learn about Paint Sticks?  Liquitex Paints?
Silk Embellishment?  Angelina?  Lutradur?
Working with Rubbing Plates & Stencils?   Silk Carrier Rods & Cocoons?

 

Each month you’ll explore a different medium to use for your fiber arts projects. 
A materials list and description will be posted on the web site and available in the shop each month.

 

There is no charge for the meeting but certain materials will be required for each project.

                            Hi Ladies,

 

  

This month we will be dyeing silk carrier rods, silk cocoons. and lace appliques. 

You will need to bring to class:

Apron, rubber gloves, butter containers, water containers, a piece of cardboard
covered with plastic about 18 x 24 size to dry your pieces on and to carry home pieces,
 straight pins, spritz bottle, size 3 or 4 round water color brush,

Liquitex soft body paints colors of your choice, or color hue instant set silk dye kit

(both available at Shibori Dragon).

Silk Cocoons and carrier rods will also be available for the class.

You will love playing with these fibers and be so happy with the appliques.
